Enjoy! :)

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup choco chips
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp oil or butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar (Can be 1/8 cup white sugar. See note)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
Chill the cookie dough in the fridge for about 15minutes before putting them in the oven.

Bake them at 320-350°F for 20-25mins. Check the cookies from time to time. Once the lower portion of the cookies turns into slightly brown, they are good to go. Even though they still look soft, you can take them off the oven and let them cool for 5-10mins in a cooling rack.

Note: I prefer lesser sweet, so I made another set of cookies and used only 1/8 cup white sugar and still love the outcome!

The pictures below show the 1/4 cup white sugar content.

The cookies are flat and crisp. They look perfect!

For the second set, I used 1/8 cup white sugar content. The cookies are slightly bulky and chewy which I prefer since I do not like too sweet cookies. See the outcome below:
